The Smoking Ban & Spring Break, WOO HOO!
They say its Spring but I don't feel the weather has sprung. It rained solidly all weekend. Bastids!

DR WHO is almost upon us, the press launch is today so I am expecting to see the new trailer imminently. Also, got my hands on some figures and sold them on eBay. Much money to be made 'cos they aren't out in Australia & the US and that's where the majority of them are going. managed to get a couple of the rare ROSE & K9 set. Woo Hoo!

Rose & K9, yesterday

Uni is over for a few weeks, spring break! Went out for lunch with some chums in the Illicit Still. Much tastiness and fun. I took along my 'Party Time' napkins. That was 2 days before the smoking ban kicked in. Played in Edinburgh on the last night of the ban. the audience had a great time but there were some annoying factors that made the gig unpleasant for my 'parrtner' and I. The agreement with the management was broken (on their side) so we were ripped off a bit. Looks like no more gigs there - not our loss.

Went to see HOSTEL which was very funny and slightly gory. Frustratingly I had some stupid Aberdonian bitch giving a commentary throughout - why is it that these people exist. Aberdeonian women that is, they're all the same - all gob and no looks.

TV-wise, Harry Hill's Tv Burp came to an end. As usual THE APPRENTICE was the main focus - and quite right too. It really does get funnier.

In other news my old chum Scott came for a visit, had not seen him in about 6 years or so. Great times, he brought me some eggs which were tasty! Sadly, I didn''t take a photo of him to let you guys see him. He's like a cross between Bono & Goran Ivanisevic. I hope it won't be 6 years till I see him again. Also met up with my old chums Neil Heggie & Douglas Maxwell down in the 'Burgh, the latter has a play on at The Traverse. Good seeing those guys again, it doesn't happen enough.

Scott Smith, yesterday

A lady went into a butcher shop complaining about some hot dogs she had just bought. "The middle is meat," she exclaimed, "but the ends are sawdust!"

"Well," said the butcher. "These days it's hard to make ends meat."

Snarf!

'til next time
