Yet More Snow & The OSCARS
Exciting times! I saw some of the new DR WHO figures in town today. What times we live in! Can't wait to sell them on eBay. Other WHO-News this week includes the disturbing statement that Peter Kay is appearing in the new season. He's pish.

A Doctor Who figure, yesterday

Film-wise, went to see LUCKY NUMBER SLEVIN which was surprisingly fun, Josh Harnett was good. They said it couln't be done. Bizarrely, that film has no website even though it stars Bruce Willis, Morgan Freeman and Ben "Call Me Sir" Kingsley. Saw SYRIANA, yawn. Clooney won an OSCAR for his role in it last Sunday. A dull, dull year for awards. Every film had to mean something. Pretentious bumpipes. Still, good to see Nick Park winning his 4th Oscar.

Nick Park, yesterday

TV-wise, HARRY HILL'S TV BURP is still the funniest thing on. Sadly, though, The IT Crowd finished last friday. Got to really love that show, sniff. Still, it's back next year. THE APPRENTICE continues to make me shout at the TV, in a good way.

In real life, the snow continued and the council did flip all to help us citizens. Was a good neighbour and cleared the snow from the walkways, etc... Started to clear today. Lecturers went on strike at Uni yesterday, like anyone noticed. We all want more money, whinging toads - just teach us.

A man was arrested for stealing a combine harvester.

What happened you ask?
He got out on bail....

Snarf.

Til next time
