WHO in 'Scotland'
This week's episode of WHO was called Tooth & Claw and was set in Scotland (although it was actually filmed in Wales). It featured an amusing running gag where Rose tried to get the Queen to say she wasn't amused and a werewolf. While some people reading this may not have been convinced by the CG work (you know who you are!) on the beast, others concentrated on the important parts of the story such as plot and script, but that's what happens when you're an adult. Ha ha.

The wolf, yesterday.

The pre-titles sequence was rather excellent, bald monkeys going all slo-mo on some guy's ass. Ha ha, just realised I put 'monkeys' instead of 'monks'. Great cast, especially Pauline Collins (who appeared in the 1967 story THE FACELESS ONES) who played Queen Victoria. David & Billie continue to shine in their roles alhtough they do come a cropper at the end when they are banished by the aformentioned Queen.

Monkeys, I mean Monks, yesterday.

The end of the episode also reffered to TORCHWOOD which is now the third time it has been mentioned - last year's THE PARTING OF THE WAYS and THE CHRISTMAS INVASION. It is the name of the spin-off show which will start later this year and stars John CAPTAIN JACK Barrowman. Speaking of spin-offs, the lovable mutt K-9 is set to get his own too! his episode hasn't even been shown yet! Here's the story.

The new.....

... and the old K-9, yesterday.

What did one teddy bear say to the other teddy bear when he offered him some dessert?

No thanks, I'm stuffed.

Snarf!

Til next time
