K-9 & Sarah Jane Return to the TARDIS
Man, that was a gooood episode of DR WHO on Saturday.
It was called SCHOOL REUNION and featured the following mind-boggling factoids:

• The return of Sarah Jane Smith, last seen in the 1983 story THE FIVE DOCTORS, although she actually left the TARDIS in the 1976 story, THE HAND OF FEAR when TOM BAKER starred as the Timelord.

Sarah Jane (and the, ahem, 'Hand Of Fear'), 1976

• The return of K-9, last seen in the 1983 story THE FIVE DOCTORS, although he actually left the TARDIS in the 1981 story, WARRIOR'S GATE when TOM BAKER starred as the Timelord.

K-9 (gaying it up on Brighton beach), 1981

• The introduction of ANTHONY HEAD STEWART (Little Britain, Buffy, Gold Blend ads) as Mr Finch. He loves kids and chips.

Mr Finch, yesterday

•Billie as a dinner lady, grrrr. okay, I'm clutching at straws there but it was an awesome episode. There's was also another mention of TORCHWOOD although it was a rather blink and you'll miss it kind of thing.

What else? Washed the windows yesterday, no really. Said finally got fired from THE APPRENTICE, he was a GRADE A tosser. HAVE I GOT NEWS FOR YOU? is back and continues to amuse as does THE GREEN WING and MY NAME IS EARL.

The Green Wing, yesterday

Went to TGI's (not my choice!) for a birthday lunch for ALISON, she turned 19. Me and some girl got her a balloon (which alerted the diligent staff to the fact that it was her birthday, titter), flowers and chocolate. There was lots of young people there which made it slightly odd for grandad here. It was amusing though.

Did you hear about the fish that went deaf?
He had to buy a herring-aid.

Snarf

Til the next time
