Thunderstorms, Bye-Bye EnGERland, Andy the Great & Best WHO ever?
Jeez.
There I said it. What an episode of DR WHO on Saturday. It made my dinkle do a burp.
No, really.
The CYBERMEN returned, first as 'ghosts' (the episode was called ARMY OF GHOSTS) and then they revealed themselves in all their steel glory. If that wasn't enough, MICKEY returned in a jaw-dropping scene with a kind of WTF? moment. THEN if that wasn't bleedin' enough, well I'll come to that later...

The Un-named planet, yesterday

The episode started with ROSE doing a voice-over describing her life and how she dies on Earth! Cripes, I hear you cry. In the scene there was a rather beautiful shot of an unnamed planet, (pictured above) nice one! They kept that quiet. Making an appearance as TORCHWOOD supremo was TRACEY-ANN OBERMAN (ironically, there was a clip of EASTENDERS - or EASTIES as I like to call it - where the spirit of Den Watts cam back to haunt the Queen Vic where he was told to sling it by Peggy Mitchell. Hold on, that's not irony. Oh well) and what a fine performance she pulled in. She's a bit of a WHO geekette so it was doubly nice to see her. They had this sphere which baffled everyone in TORCHWOOD and then at the end of the episode it opened up and who should appear?

ONLY THE FLIPPIN DALEKS!!!!!!!!

The flippin' Daleks, yesterday

To say I was shocked would be understating it. The BEEB did a good job keeping that one under their hats although you may remember THIS article form my very first blog. So that was that! Part two next week and it's the season closer. The BBC website has got teaser trailers every day! My dinkle burps while I type.

Andy Murray, yesterday

On the same day, England went out of the World Cup. Beckham went off injured and Rooney was sent off. Ironically, it was the same ref who sent off Beckam all those years ago. Hold on, that's not irony. Oh well. Still with the same day, ANDY MURRAY went into the last 16 at WIMBLEDON. Click HERE for the story. A great achievement for the young guy. He said that he 'played great'. Wise words, he beat Andy Roddick who is seeded no. 3 so it was a fantastic win for the lad. Here's a link to his BLOG where he describes a message left for him by SEAN "A True Scot in the Bahamas" CONNERY.

On Sunday morning there was a thunderstorm which lasted 2 hours! There were 2 claps of thunder that physically made me jump, and I ain't no girl!

Why did the baker rob the bank?
He needed the dough.

'Til next next time,
