DOCTOR WHO - The Cartoon!
Wow!

The Doctor and Martha, yesterday.

Didn't see this comin'. The BBC are to produce a series of animations to be shown in the TOTALLY DR WHO programme, click HERE for the story. As you can see from the pic above, it all looks very exciting - not disimilar from the recent animation seen in the DVD of THE INVASION. I greatly look forward to it and wonder if the Beeb are using this as a test to gauge interest in animated WHO, ie future DVD releases. Elsewhere in the world of WHO, there was a story in THE SUN concerning the next season and a certain actor and a certain character. I won't spoil it for you but if you want to read it, go HERE. If true, very interesting... Not as interesting as this little nugget from the DAILY STAR, according to them BRITNEY SPEARS is to star in the show! Go HERE for that.

Shilpa, yesterday.

Unsurprisingly, SHILPA won CELEBRITY BIG BROTHER. Didn't really watch the last few days but it was nice to see DIRK in the last three. CLEO was not very kind to him on CBBBM. In fact she showed herself right up, the old slut. HARRY HILL'S TV BURP was funny, but not great. AMERICAN IDOL is proving to be just as funny at the moment. In other, TV-related news, MITCHELL & WEBB have done some adds for MAC, go HERE to see them, tres bien!

Mitchell & Webb selling out, yesterday.

Film-wise, saw VENUS which stars PETER O'TOOLE who has just recently been OSCAR nominated for that role. Very good he was too as was FORREST WHITAKER in THE LAST KING OF SCOTLAND. Both really good but also a little bit shocking in different ways. Music-wise, no new tunes this week but I have ordered the new cd by THE SHINS and look forward to listening to it. Life-wise, back at Uni - nice to be back in some kind of regime. Did some design work for the Students' Association, they were happy with all of it which was unexpected. I'll post them up once they have chosen the final few.

They say pirate films are killing the industry.
But I love those Johnny Depp movies!

Til the next time
