PETER DAVISON IS BACK!!
That's right blog lovahs, PETER "Up Yours, Tom Baker" DAVISON is coming back to DOCTOR WHO as first reported by ME back in August HERE. Check out the STORY and a pic!

Crikey, no Photoshop necessary - they are actually together!

I am elated. Aroused. Dinkle-burped out. In that order. I love PETEY D (as I shall now call him). His performance was always top-notch even when he was up against tenth rate monsters like the Myrka or the cackling buffoon that was The Eighties Master. And, if this all weren't enough, it's only being written by STEPHEN "I Write It, You Love It" MOFFAT! You will, of course, remember his previous: BLINK; GIRL IN THE FIREPLACE (swoon); THE EMPTY CHILD/DOCTOR DANCES; and THE CURSE OF THE FATAL DEATH which starred a whole feast of actors playing The Doctor for COMIC RELIEF. Check it out on YOUTUBE, no doubt it's there.

Aawwwww....

Anyway, here's what The Moff has actually, physically said about it:

"He's [Peter Davison] magnificent, by the way, just magnificent. And yes there's a quick hand-wave explanation for the age thing - but really, when you see him in action, you almost don't need it. He's just the Doctor and you don't argue."

Excited? Yes. Yes, I am. Elsewhere on the WHO front, THE SUN have 'revealed' some interesting points about the Christmas special - go HERE. It does contain potential spoilers so watch out, although it's usually hit or miss when they actually get it right. DR WHO Christmas cards? You got it:

Doctor Who Christmas Card [Front]

As you can see, all proceeds go to CHILDREN IN NEED. Get them from WH SMITH, buy two packs, get one free! Elsewhere on TV, not much. THE PETER SERAFINOWICZ SHOW continues to un-impress (why am I watching it then???) but he did appear on FRIDAY NIGHT WITH JONATHAN ROSS and made me laugh more in 10 minutes then I have at three episodes of his junk. Oddly, he did an amazing pastiche of THE BEATLES. The voices, apart from RINGO, were tip-top and the songs were phenomenal. Just not funny. And don't get me on his STAR WARS sketch. Groan! RUSSELL BRAND is back with a TV show PONDERLAND but it ain't really a show, it's just his stand up cut up into half hour slots. I didn't laugh at all during the first episode but I heard most of his material previously. I liked this pic:

And here's how it's done....

This week's CDW award is well contested. Should WINELIST get it again?

SPEARS for lovin' cookies too much and effing up her custody rights, again??

VIKKI B for these atrocities???

CHRIS MARTIN????

No, it goes to SARAH HARDING, from GIRLS ALOUD don't cha know, for stripping 'live' on radio. What a douche, do it on telly next time you desperate cow. Go HERE for the 411. I don't often post links to videos but this caught my eye, big style. This is real, not a fake out, man. There is a new Christian online channel called GOD TUBE.COM. Go visit! But here is their homage to SIR MIX-A-LOT. This 'baby' doesn't have 'back' - she has a bible. No, really.

Finally, some 'sad' news. After 25 years together SIMPLY RED have announced they are to split - see the story HERE. Join me in a tear, for the world is a poorer place now they have gone.....

Sniffff.

'Til the next time,
C.

PS. Sarcasm is very difficult to get across in a blog.
