First up, some salacious WHO-scuttle. Fact-wise,JOHN BARROWMAN said in THIS interview that he's filming WHO after Christmas which backs up some claims that he told various fans the very same thing a while back. KYLIE has stated that she wants to return and that talks have begun, see HERE. Rumour-wise, the NEWS OF THE WORLD reported that JOHN SIMM has signed up to play THE DOCTOR after DAVEY T leaves. This story was then regurgitated on SKY NEWS and then on RADIO 1. A number of people got in contact with me about this stating it as fact. It is not fact. Apart from SIMM saying that, when he thought he was going to be offered the role when the WHO crew first contacted him, he was gonna say "No" and the fact that he quit LIFE ON MARS due to the work load (which was a lot less than WHO) there is the reality that it ain't gonna happen - see HERE for the official denial. What is most likely is that SIMM has had some meetings with the production crew concerning the return of THE MASTER and some idiot journalist got their wires crossed. CHILDREN IN NEED are doing their usual eBay auctions, featuring some WHO-related items, HERE. You may notice a familiar name in the bidders list.....
Davey T praying the BEEB aren't replacing him with Johnny S.
DAVEY T starred in LEARNERS, a one-off 'comedy-drama' written byJESSICA "I Was I Dr Who Too, You Know" HYNES. It was ok. Some laughs but not much learning. Great performances too with SHAUN "Pete Tyler" DINGWALLmaking a creditable appearance. The part of the show that made me almost swallow my brain was when DT's character said he was from GIRVAN - that's my hometown fact-fans. Jessica's character then repeated it which made me wonder how the hell she got wind of a plce like that. I assume DAVEY T helped out there. THE RICHES has been getting better each week, as has ENTOURAGE which I just started watching. Not much else though on the TV landscape. The former has been showing on VIRGIN and, incredibly, they had an ad-break 1 minute into the show! I am not lying, 1 minute!
Bill Oddie's AUTUMNWATCH was invaded by birds.
Music-wise, there's been a glut of new releases. I 'got' the ROBERT PLANT & ALISON KRAUS release, "Raising Sand" after being enthralled by their cover of THE EVERLEY BROTHERS'"Gone Gone Gone". It's good, if a little dull. The single is, by far, the best thing on it. After some excellent recommendation I 'got' "Tones Of Town" from FIELD MUSIC and bloody good it is too. Well worth a listen, very different (by that I mean it's not like current guitar bands, popular ones that is). Speaking of popular bands, I tolerated THE HOOSIERS' "The Trick To Life". Actually, it's vastly superior to my expectations, so well done guys. Lastly, and most erotically, the soundtrack to DOCTOR WHO SERIES THREE. Genius, masterpiece, etc... Stout work, even better than the first one. In music-news, it looks like there may finally be another release from one of my favourite bands (of all-time mate) MY BLOODY VALENTINE - see HERE for the 411.

My desire to see 'Knockers' on the lips of the population seems to be working. My BlogTracker, rather amusingly, has indicated that 'Nigella's Knockers' are hot on the fingertips of google-ers. Perverts. And so to this week's CDW of the Week Award. Once again, SPEARS has done it. Whilst wearing a sombrero out on the town she was asked why she wearing a sombrero. Her answer? "What's a sombrero?". Stoopid cow. It was caught on film (saw it on E!) so I'm sure it'll be up on YOUTUBE soon enough. Instead of leaving with a joke, I'm gonna sign off with this clip from NEIGHBOURSwhere two of the characters are discussing DOCTOR WHO!
