DOCTOR WHO - Spoiler City, Arizona!
Flip me! And I don't say that very often. Coming up, some potentially HUGE spoilers for various episodes of DOCTOR WHO SERIES 4 (or thirty depending on how you count them) - don't worry, I'll give you a warning before they appear - but first actual, factual 'news'.

They're probably running to get home so they don't miss the start.

As reported here, the first episode is broadcast on APRIL 5 and now they have told us the time. 6.20pm! 6 flippin 20! What are these f**knuckles playing at? I was so incensed that I actually complained to the BEEB. Why am I so annoyed? The viewing figures could be sorely dented by this change in time. It's only 40 minutes you say, well get this. The episodes that were broadcast last year at a similar time got between 2-3 million less. That's right, less. It feels like the late Eighties all over again (for those who don't know, they mucked it about in the schedules). I hope they don't stick to this time. I don't like watching WHO in broad flippin' daylight. Anyway, rant over. The SPOILERS begin in the next paragraph. Be warned, if true, they may well ruin your enjoyment of SERIES 4. This post is at end for you if you don't want to know what happens. Waits....

Cathy T shows off her fiery nature.

Right, I'll start with some fairly small ones first. In the next episode, PARTNERS IN CRIME, the main female - played by SARAH "Bets She Gets Sick Of The Constant References To Corrie" LANCASHIRE - is actually an alien and THE DOCTOR and DONNA have to "stop a million overweight Brits being turned into sickeningly cute alien babies". Reportedly this episode is very light in tone. In the second episode, THE FIRES OF POMPEII, is set on the eve of Vesuvius' eruption. The volcano is home to a race of aliens called PYROVILLES (one of them says 'Pyroville' in the 'End of Christmas Special' Trailer) and CATHY T gets to show off some actoring skills as well as her knack for 'comedy'; she approaches a youngster and asks, "What do young people do around here? Hang out at TK Maximus?" Nice! This info comes from HERE.

The Hand Of Goo?

MARTHA appears as a clone in the SONTARAN two~parter. For those who don't know, they are a clone race. It's her hand we see come out of the green goo in the trailer (pictured above); then we see her totally covered in it. In SILENCE IN THE LIBRARY, written by STEVEN "god~in~human~form" MOFFAT, there's a 'spooky' skeleton in a spacesuit. More filming took place recently, presumably on the finale, featuring LIS "I've Ran Out Of Sexy Things To Say About Her" SLADEN and she's re~united with... (after 33 years) the DALEKS! There's a scene that takes place in a car - I hope it's her funky one from the SARAH JANE ADVENTURES - and she's being threatened with EXTERMINATION. Who comes to the rescue? MICKEY and JACKIE; with the latter asking if anyone's seen her daughter. This backs up the spoilers revealed in THIS post where I stated that ROSE comes back alone.

The new range of DR WHO Curries launches.

Right, this last bit of news should be regarded tentatively but the source behind it has delivered the goods before, so this could well be true. The return of the aforementioned pepper~pots and their creator is a red~herring. There's someone else behind it all. I think you can guess who. As reported sometime ago (I think in the summer) JOHN "I Wonder If He Watches A2A?" SIMM was to film some scenes and it seems THE MASTER is indeed back. This report also featured the phrase "botched regeneration" which could mean him. This also backs up a separate report that there was definitely a regeneration in the upcoming series and all this re~iterates claims by RTD that the finale was "fanwanky" and GRAEME "Superlatives Fail Me Again" HARPER's comment that it was the most "bonkers" one yet.

Do you feel dirty having read all these juicy spoilers?

'Til the next time,
C.
