First Look At The ADIPOSE!
Who (or what), I suspect you're asking, are the ADIPOSE? Well, I'll get to that soon enough, but be warned - SPOILERS follow in the next paragraph for the SERIES 4 opener of DOCTOR WHO, so move on if you don't want to see them. Before that, it seems I am not alone in my disgust at the BEEB's scheduling of the show at 6.20pm. Click HERE for some more reaction and HERE for reaction from RTD himself! Here's the DALEK teaser that's been playing this past week. Spoilers follow after it!

Click HERE to read an article on some geeky CG action. In it the nerds reveal what they've been doing on WHO and, specifically, we get to see some pictures from the next episode, PARTNERS IN CRIME. Here's a glimpse of the ADIPOSE!

Pingu is back!

Now, obviously, that is not a finished version but a work in progress (note date) but the little guys seem to back up the spoiler from THIS post claiming they were 'cute' aliens involved. The next picture ain't as cute though but is fully rendered. Alien, anyone?

Is it wrong to do a penis gag here?

'Til the next time,
C.

Hmmm....pop little black outfits on the adipose, and black bowler hats and you're almost in Homepride territory.

I can almost hear the soothing tones of the original Mr Homepride (and Bod!), John le Mesurier.

As you say though, it seems likely that the little critters will be rather different onscreen, come Saturday 5th.

Have to agree with the sense of foreboding about the changed time for Who - but remain hopeful that it will migrate back to its proper timeslot as soon as poss.

Tried (again, sighhhh) to avoid your well-signposted spoiler areas ("spoilareas"? Hmmm...maybe not.....).

    Failed.

Comforting myself in the knowledge that because I now know so much of the bigger stuff that's coming, I've got more of a chance to concentrate on the smaller, intricate details.

Wondering when the Sarah Jane Adventures will be back - presuming it'll be sometime AFTER this latest series of Doctor Who?

Aahhh, the HOMEPRIDE ads! Ah, BOD!

    Happier, more simpler times.

I think at some point I may try and avoid spoilers but I say that every year.

As for THE SARAH JANE ADVENTURES, I though that it would return at the same time as last year, starting in September/October. But they haven't started filming yet so I'm not too sure. Both it and TORCHWOOD may well be used to tide us, [grimaces], WHOVIANS [shudders] over in the "Year Of The Specials".
