that is BRIAN "Gordon's Alive! BLESSED
presented HAVE I GOT NEWS FOR YOU?
this week and what
a job he did. Surreal and high~larious
for a solid 30 minutes, amazing stuff. The above clip is the accompanying 'webisode' but I urge
you to try and catch either on one of the BBC2 repeats this week or on the iPlayer
. I hope he returns at some point. I also hope that BORIS "Mayor Of London, It's Official" JOHNSON
makes a return after his triumphant win. London, it was nice knowing you...
Yup, NATTY P gets peed on!
Earlier this week, THE APPRENTICE
continued to amuse but I am beginning to wonder if next year they'll simply pick the first 12 people the programme makers meet on the street. This week saw the 'teams' (and I use that term lightly)
devise a greeting cards event. Singles Day? Love The World (or whatever the hell it was)
Week? Come on!
The pitches from KEVIN
cringeworthy moments but what stuck in my craw was the unacceptable and actual
bullying (not the sh*te BIG BROTHER kind)
, of SARA
. I got that ill
feeling again reader. These people are filthily
grotesque and full marks to RAIF
for stepping in after LEE (gone way down in my estimations)
and ETHAN HAWKE
, sorry I mean ALEX
, had said their unrequested piece.
Eeeww, gross! JEFF GOLDBLUM & IMOGEN HEAP!
It's not just the guys though, ultimate cows JENNY
- who should
have gone - and JENNIFER
did their damage too. These are unpleasant whores of the grandest order. I do feel the show is going very
reality and the last couple of minutes displayed this. Still, unmissable
. Good to see NICKY H
on THE APPRENTICE: YOU'RE FIRED
. Him and MAGGIE M
should be on it every week. I did chortle
when he revealed that they text each other. Bless.
I finally caught STEPHEN FRY
's 'documentary' on the GUTTENBERG PRESS
. Yawn. I lurve
that guy but yawn!
They should have got PAUL MERTON
to do it.
Slutbag alert!Download~wise, THE OFFICE
provided some larfs
but also some serious moments. Most unwelcome and I did not enjoy the stand~off
. It's meant to be a comedy! And there seems to be a sub~plot
. Don't like it, move on, make me laugh. It pains
me to say this but this week's TWO AND A HALF MEN
made me laugh more. There, I said it. Similarly, LOST
was also disappointing. It had an old~skool
Lost (yes, I just typed that)
vibe to it. Don't worry, no spoilers (not that I could)
but it was pretty dull with only a few moments that were genuinely
interesting. Pick it up
In movie 'news', CARRIE "If I Had A Time Machine" FISHER
revealed that she and HAIRY F
were at it during STAR WARS
: go HERE
for the 411
that I thought was old news even back in the Eighties. JIM "Next Good Film When?" CARREY
and EWAN "Also, Next Good Film When?" MCGREGOR
visit gay bar for research (hem hem)
? Seems so if THIS
is to be believed (pic below too)
. And finally, in TV news, BLAKE'S SEVEN
is to return. Looks like SKY
are doing it but, if you remember blog reader
, that company were gonna produce a re~imagining of THE PRISONER
- see HERE
completists. And what happened there? (Though, thank eff they didn't.)
Gay, not there's anything wrong with that...'Til the next time,C.
